About Combination Non Surgical BBL
Sculptra and Radiesse are both collagen-stimulating injectables, but they can serve different purposes within a body rejuvenation plan.
Sculptra may be used to support gradual volume development, improve contour, and address areas such as hip dips or low volume. Hyperdilute Radiesse may be used to focus more specifically on skin quality, firmness, elasticity, and the appearance of lax or crepey skin.
When appropriate, the two can be combined within a personalized plan to address both the shape of the buttocks and the quality of the overlying skin. They may be performed in stages rather than necessarily during the same appointment.
How it works
Sculptra uses poly-L-lactic acid to encourage gradual collagen formation and support progressive volume and contour improvement. Radiesse contains calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres that encourage collagen and elastin and, when hyperdiluted, can be distributed across broader areas to improve skin quality and firmness.
Your provider determines where each product is best used based on your anatomy and goals.

Frequently asked questions
Why combine Sculptra and Radiesse for a Non-Surgical BBL?
The products can address different goals. Sculptra can be used for gradual collagen-based volume and contour enhancement, while hyperdilute Radiesse can focus more on skin firmness, elasticity, and overall skin quality.
When will I see results?
Both produce progressive biostimulatory effects. Changes develop over the following weeks and months as new collagen—and, with Radiesse, elastin—forms.
How long do results last?
Results are long-lasting but not permanent, and vary by product, amount used, anatomy, metabolism, lifestyle, and individual collagen response. Maintenance may be recommended over time.
How many sessions will I need, and are Sculptra and Radiesse done together?
Your plan is completely personalized. Some clients receive one product first and add the other later, while others have both incorporated into a staged plan. The number of sessions and amount of product depend on your anatomy and goals.
What is the recovery time or downtime?
Temporary swelling, bruising, tenderness, redness, firmness, and injection-site sensitivity can occur. Recovery and aftercare depend on the product, amount used, and areas addressed.
